I have a character that is a half-dragon shapeshifter. I would think that might be similar in a way to a were creature. The main distiguishing features I gave her were an angular face (Think Liv Tyler or Jessica Biel) and radiant skin. To the untrained eye, it would appear that she just had a great tan, but there actually is a metalic iridecence to it.
