Received a very nice review for ‘Winter Awakening’ on Amazon. Reader is not a fancier of wolves or cats but can’t wait for the sequel because the story is so good.

Been a busy submission summer. Have submitted ten stories to various anthologies. So far, four have been rejected, and three accepted.
‘Isis’ will appear in FTST#6 Space Battles edited by Bryan T. Schmidt. Release Spring 2012 from Flying Pen Press. It’s Space Opera and Military SF. Mine will be the first Speculative Christian SF story the publisher has accepted.
‘Darkness in the Heartland’ will be in Ultimate Angels edited by Elizabeth LaFond. Release in 2012. This one was difficult since we had to have battling angels in a horror story. I used tiger angels and based it in/around an actual place/event.
‘Mighty Fine’ in Zombiefied – An Anthology of all things Zombie edited by Carol Hightshoe. Publisher is Sky Warrior Book Publishing LLC. My first Zombie story and inspired by something Rush Limbaugh said about those people who call 911 because they didn’t get part of their order from places like McDonalds. Release Oct. 2011.
On one of my rejections the editor said the story didn’t quite fit his antho but he liked the story and the next one he edited, he’d like to see a submission from me. Anytime a writer hears that from an editor, that’s an open door for the future.

Update on 'Winter Awakening'. My publisher posted her best sellers for the year and my book is #3 in print and #4 in ebook.
Didn't expect that so it's a wonderful blessing!
