I'm trying out a new idea over at the NAF Blog. It's something of a Democratic Choose your own Adventure, with a twist. Readers vote for the path they want the story to take. And after a good jump start, I'll open it up for anyone to suggest optional paths. Then I'll run with whatever the group picks, whether it be my idea or someone else's.
I haven't seen anything online like it so it's kind of a crazy experiment, sort of a hybrid mix of the traditional and the "community" variety. I've set up a fantasy realm in civil war and the hero/narrator is a mercenary so there's lots of room to play with.
Would love to see what people think and if you want to check out the idea, watch the results of our experiment, or come help guide the story - I say the more the merrier!
