The media has been slow to acknowledge this Christian brother being sentenced to death in Iran for the "crime" of "apostacy" from Islam, which they suddenly changed to the false accusations of rape and being a "Zionist" when the story started to break out here and there. I read his story on the websites of CNN and the International Business Times (which I hadn't heard of before -- maybe it's just a blog), but not many other places. And I haven't even told anybody about. We can pray, but I don't know what our prayers do, not when we just mumble a few words before falling asleep, or right after reading about the problem so we can clear our consciousness. I'm a hypocrite, because I haven't done anything other than that. There's nothing we can do, is there? Well, here's a link to a recent story about Nadarkhani in some blog or newsite or another. I just looked at this article after searching for him in Google News to find out the latest, so you may as well read this article if you haven't heard of Nadarkhani before: townhall.com/columnists/karenlugo/2011/10/08/iranian_pastor_youcef_nadarkhani_and_the_berlin_wall

I think we underestimate the power of prayer. Let's all pray for this man.

I'm feeling proud of him. I hope I would have courage like that if it came down to it. Thanks for posting about him.

Thank you for this call for the prayer warriors here to support this brother in Christ.
In this country, we take our freedoms for granted. We don't remember often enough to raise those brothers and sisters suffering persecution for their faith that can result in torture and execution.
Praying...
