It's not fiction and only slightly speculative, but I'm writing a collection of poems based on the people Jesus interacted with personally while He was on the Earth. It's their takes on how He impacted their lives. The speculative part is that I'm filling in details that aren't provided in Scripture and building their testimonies. It helps me see Jesus from others' perspectives and realize He's savior to more than just me. It has been a long time in getting started, but God has motivated me lately to write more of these. So far, I've written a piece for Barabbas (today actually), Mary Magdalene, Saul of Tarsus, the woman with the issue of blood, and the beggar at the temple gate. Would you be willing to put on your poetry lenses and take a look? I'd love comments and critiques because I'd like to try for publication some day. That is a neat idea! I've left a few comments. I used to write poetry...it seemed it was only when I was in turmoil...I might have to revisit that. The way you wrote some of them, with broken phrases reminded me of some of my poems, yet I didn't think mine were. Might have to dust them off. thanks for sharing!

Myrthman,
Love your testimonies! ;D
So powerful, several of them sent a chill up my spine! I was struck by your use of images, emotion, and movement.
Keep writing these!
