Have you ever tried to picture a character, and spend hours stalking the internet for art that matches the vague image in your head only to have to give up in despair? Well, I found a decent answer to that common problem of mine. Hero Machine 3 is the latest in a series of character designers with the most power and versatility that can make almost any type of character imaginable. (It helps if they're superheroes, or otherwise in really good shape. Small, skinny characters are a lot harder to make because of the pieces and parts used.) I'll even attach the latest one I made. www.heromachine.com/heromachine-3-lab/I have been using this a lot lately, as characters have been popping in my head only as faintly filled shadows, which annoyed me, but this is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. Anyways, I hope some of you can find this useful, or at least, entertaining. Attachments:

I use HM2.5 extensively. I looked at HM3 and ran screaming for the hills, but you say it's easy?

Interestingly many of the real Heroes of history didn't look at all distinguished in physical presence. They mostly looked rather ordinary.

Well, it's easy after you make a few people. It's simpler than how it first looks.
That's true, but Hero Machine was originally for superheroes, and still uses that ideal.

I've used HM in the past, and just found out about HM3. I toyed with it a couple of days ago. I intend to spend a little more time on it in the coming weeks.

It's pretty fun and simple, once the shock at all the buttons and options goes away.

I added to HM some play time with PAINT.NET and created a scene with a whole squad of star fighter pilots in their briefing room. I'll dig it up and post a link.
