Fellow Anomalians,
I usually try to solve my own problems without bothering other people, but this time, I need some prayer support. My husband and I both have been trying to find work. My son is going through trials with some important life choices. A few hours ago, I learned a dear friend died--he was the clergy at our wedding and has been our close friend all our lives. A moment ago there was a phone call--my mother has developed an anaphalatic reaction and is on her way to the ER.
No one event is very demanding, but all of a sudden it has become very hard. My head is swimming.
Please, any prayer warriors out there, pray for us. Especially that I can continue to hold up as support for my family and the family of our late friend.

Prayed for you. Those are so many things to struggle with at once. I pray God will give you strength in Him!

So sorry all this has hit at once, Teskas. I pray your concerns will resolve quickly and smoothly, and may you find an opportunity to rejoice in the blessings you shared with your friend who has passed away.

Thank you, Bethany. Thank you, Becky. It was very kind of you to offer prayers for my need. They are a little more manageable today. My mother is out of danger and home again. We are still grieving our friend, and know it takes time. He hadn't let anyone know how unwell he was, so it was a shock to everyone. I'm gradually getting used to the idea that he is gone. I guess yesterday it was too much to bear.
I'm grateful my friends at The Anomaly were there for me. God bless and keep all of you.

Prayers continuing, Teskas.
None of those things are easy to deal with individually, let alone in a cluster like that. It makes us even more aware of how very much we depend on Him.
And please don't feel like you're bothering anyone in asking for prayer. It's an honor -- not a burden -- to come alongside a sister (or brother) in prayer.
God grant you strength, grace, and peace in Him as you endure this difficult time.

Thank you, Metalikhan. Your prayers are most appreciated. I think everyone's support here has led me to a fine talk given by Michael Card on Lamentation. It is in several parts on YouTube. It has been a great help in dealing with the emotions I have been struggling with.
I know there are others who have read this prayer request, and who, without posting anything here, have been praying for me. So, I'd like to thank all of you. It is a comfort. God bless you. All of you.

Prayers away, if a little late.

Thank you, Bainespal. I suspect there are a lot of us who check the Prayer Requests and offer prayers without ever saying so. There are loving lurkers on the look-out for us. That's good to know.
