There are many wonderful books out there about how to create rich and memorable characters for fiction. Plus many novelists seem to be able to come up with an endless array of interesting story people without even exerting themselves. Because I'm not one of those and because I never found a book that truly helped me create great characters, I created my own system. Character Creation for the Plot-First Novelist is that system. I made it for me, but then when I showed it around and other novelists said they found it useful, I decided to work it up into a product I could offer for sale. Many novelists struggle with creating three-dimensional and differentiated characters, even though they can come up with amazing plot ideas, fantastic dialogue, or incredible settings. If that describes you, consider giving Character Creation for the Plot-First Novelist a try. Check it out here: www.wherethemapends.com/products/products.htm. While you're there, be sure to also check out CharPick, my little software utility that creates minor characters at the click of a button. Hope it helps you. Jeff
