Hi ya'll. My name is Robi, and I've decided to jump in. I've had some communication with Jeff through email, and he has been a really great source of information. I am a newly published author with a second book on the near horizon. The novel I have out now does not fit this particular world, but it's there. I am working on some stuff that I hope to send Jeff's way over the next, well, however long it takes to get it in a form someone could actually read. One is fantasy and there is a science fiction trilogy still in the dream stages. There are also several vague ideas floating around my house. Makes it kinda crowded some days, and noisy, but I have most of them under control (yeah right).
Anyway, I'm here, don't know what I can contribute, but I'm going to look around and see what else is going on. Hope ya'll don't mind a pushy Texan comin' in to stir things up.
Hi Jeff. I finally made it this far.

Greetings fellow Texan! Actually, I'm an adopted Texan, but it's all the same, right?
Welcome and God bless -- CS

Thanks to all. To the adopted Texan, as long as you clalim Texan. My husband is from New Mexico and absolutely refuses to be an adopted Texan. Poor deluded man. But, I love him anyway, even though he is a "dern furriner".
I look forward to getting to know everyone here. Looks like a great place to hang out and improve my craft.

Rwley,
Welcome from a misplaced Okie. I reside in Iowa now, but still think of myself as an Okie. I lived in Calera, just north of the Red River. Straight north of Sherman, TX, it that helps.
CS,
A good friend from Texas explained it to me once that if you live in Texas, claim Texas, and come from a state that had soldiers at the Alamo, you may be official. :-)

Welcome aboard. Although I can't say I'm a texan, or even been with hundred miles of said state, I've heard it's great and it is one of my goals to visit (believe it or not). Anyway, welcome to the partay and if you ever feel the need to visit my humble country up the the far north, give a shout and I'll tell the locals to warm up some coffee.

Thank you, Canada. I've been to Canada once; when I was 18 mos old. My family went to the Canadian side of Niagra. Needless to say, I remember nothing about the trip. I would like to visit, though. I'll holler at ya if I head north. And yes, definitely warm up the coffee. I'll need it:)

Robi,
My wife is a "pushy Texan." Getting to know the differences between northern and southern culture was an education and a half!

Thanks. It's still got a little to be worked on, but I have a great graphic designer. She designed my cross as well.
