It's official. We are putting the house on the market this weekend. We simply cannot afford to stay in it any longer. We also can't afford to move until we sell the house. Pray that we get what we need for the house. We don't need to make a killing, just enough to pay off the existing mortgage and get us enough cash to make a move to an apartment. I know that God gave us this house 2 1/2 years ago, and I know that He is now saying it's time to let it go. It's hard. But it's right. Pray for peace as well. Thanks. Ya'll don't know how much I appreciate your prayers and support.

Something to add: I know that no one's read this yet, but there is already the possibility of an answer. A long time friend called me today and asked if my husband and I were interested in applying to be Youth Pastors at his church. They're looking for someone now and he's on the search committee. It comes with a house. And a salary. I'd still work my job even though it would mean a little bit longer commute, but no big deal. And he knows someone who might be interested in our house as an investment property. Answered prayer? Maybe. At least I think now that light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train Please pray though. Nothing is settled. But don't you just love possibilities? You guys are great!!!

I sympathise with you loss, as our family lost our home recently, but remember that God will take care of you. Prayer and faith can help. I hope that this new opportunity works out for you and the glory of God.
Scincerely,

Well, Scott had the initial interview with the head of the search committe last night. It sounded like it went well and Scott said he thinks it did. The guy told him he would talk to the rest of the committee and they would set up a second interview with the whole committee.
Still no bites on the house, but that's okay.
God is in control. He knows what He's doing. Yeah, it's a roller coaster, but I've always loved roller coasters. I only get a little dizzy now that I'm getting, well, you know, older (don't tell, it's a secret) but I still love 'em.
Keep praying and thanks for all the support.

Scott's second interview, this one face-to-face with the whole committee, is on Sunday at 3:00 pm. Continued prayers are appreciated as we really want God's will to be accomplished here.
Some big changes about to happen with my job as well. Good things, I think. More as details become clearer.
Thanks to all of you.

Could you please put your actual names on you prayer request. Maybe it's just me, but I feel kind of silly asking God to bless my friend . . .whose actual name escapes me right now. I know God still listens, but I get embarrassed by my forgetfullness.
Scincerely,
