One idea I have seen for breathing underwater that I think is pretty cool is in Star Wars Episode I where Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan used little metal devices held in their mouths to breathe underwater when Jar-Jar Binks was leading them to the underwater Gungan city. It looked pretty low-tech to me, and Jedis are generally fairly low-tech anyway (even their lightsaber blades are made of a crystal, and padawans must make the lightsabers by hand and unassisted as part of their trials). That's an idea.

I liked those things too. Always wondered why they had them; then I thought, "Maybe Jedis can use them in outer space for a limited time too." Who knows?

I don't know. They may just be for water; Jedis often visit planets on missions, including ones with lots of water, like Kamino, that rainy planet Obi-Wan visits in Episode II where they are secretly making the Clone army.

However it would cause the problem of no hands but maybe there is a way around that. I don't know, just thinking

Not a bad idea, dw. Sort of like in Disney's "The Sword and the Stone." Thanks!
And welcome to the Anomaly!
