I only just discovered this site the other day.
I'm mostly a sci-fi geek (Star Wars, Star Trek, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and Doctor Who (mainly the original run) FTW, as well as the Firebird trilogy and the Ransom), and I also enjoy Narnia, LotR, Harry Potter, and Prydain. I'm also an avid Myst fan.
I have written for the Protectors of the Plot Continuum, and write song parodies (usually based on one of the above series, although I wrote one about the red-eyed vireo entitiled "Pretty Fly for a Red-Eye") I have some original works trying to get out. Things like a four-thousand-year war against Robotic Legions controlled from a station in the M42 nebula, a magical kingdom on a gas supergiant's largest moon, the Roswell crash involving a ship of Christian pilgrims, and so much more.

Welcome to the Anomoly! I haven't seen MST3K in years! I will echo the Star Trek, Narnia, LOtR, and the original Dr. Who. Good stuff.
The Roswell story sounds pretty cool. So does the magical kingdom one. Have you read Terry Brooks' Magic Kingdom for Sale: SOLD? It's the first in a series called the Magic Kingdom of Landover and it's pretty good. But then I'm a really huge Terry Brooks fan, so I'm just a little biased.
Anyway, welcome again and enjoy the crazies. There's quite a few of them around her.

Belated greetings and salutations, fellow creature! You shall certainly fit in here. At least you'll have to eventually since there's no convenient way in or out. Something about it being nearly impossible to map...

Eudyptula albosignata...if we're talking penguins then count me in. Happy feet!!! If we're not, well, I'm already here, so keep talking. I'll catch up eventually.
I, too, like The Doctor. And Kirk, McCoy, and Spock (mostly Spock) and light sabers and riding sand worms, and....the Vorlons! And Prince Caspian and Sirs Gwain and Galahad.
We're all slightly off the wall here, and loving every minute of it.
Welcome, Korora.

There's a wall? I think I'm too far off of it to even remember there was one. Welcome to the Anomaly.
I too am a fan of the Narnia series, but not so much LotR - though I loved the recent movies. I'm also a fan of R.A. Salvatore's books, mostly his Forgotten Realms stuff involving Drizzt and Cadderly, but will admit I feel his latest works in the Drizzt series are getting a little too... commercial. They don't feel as deep as the original books.
The Roswell thing sounds interesting. I've had similar thoughts based on everyone talking about how if we find intelligent life on another planet than it will prove that the Bible is false and God doesn't exist. My thought was, wouldn't it be hilarious if we do find intelligent life and the first thing they ask us is, "Have you guys heard of Jesus?"
I've actually played with the idea of doing some world-building and having one of the cultures have a form of Christianity, though not an exact copy as they would have had slightly different paths over time since the world would be different from Earth in the first place - a little hard for Egyptians to take Hebrews in to slavery where there isn't a Canaan or Egypt, much more an Asiatic or African Continent.
