Wasn't quite sure what category to post this in...ah well, it ended up here!
I'm having this idea of a language, an exclusive language, that only those who know the Truth can understand. To everyone else, maybe it sounds like nonsense and they think the speaker crazy, or maybe to everyone else it sounds like real words, but insults. Or to those seeking Truth, it sounds like healing.
Maybe the Truth language has the power to heal, emotional wounds and during battle.
But this language, maybe it's what initially connects the scifi and fantasy people, who couldn't possibly understand eachother before. And if we go with the Being bringing an end to the battle at the end of Act 1, maybe that's when this language is unleashed. It's how the two sides can understand eachother--those who believe, anyway. And it's why those who don't believe can't possibly understand the ones in the battle or the other side (as in, the gov'ts and religious leaders.)
If someone decides to believe, they're given the gift of Truth language.
I'm thinking that this language is incorruptible, but there's also a corrupted version, a counterfeit, that's unleashed too (or maybe it's their native language and was there all along, they just THOUGHT it was the Truth before), and that wrecks havoc as to the new Truth-speakers. It sounds like Truth, but it isn't. Maybe it's their own native language, but they don't know it, and they think it sounds like the Truth (hey, like flesh vs. Spirit). Great conflicts among them could arise from them thinking that they're speaking the Truth language, when they're really speaking their own native tongue and don't know it.
