Some of you may know I'm a senior in HS right now, and I'm sure most of you remember what that was like But on Monday I got a letter from Duke University that started off with "Congratulations." >Insert many excitement emoticons< I'm so grateful to God for taking the college application pressure out of my life so early this school year, and that He's made it possible for me to go to a school as reputable (good and bad!) as Duke. The next four years of my life, and more, have suddenly taken on much more reality. I know that Duke is very secular, however, even though it originated as a Methodist college. I'm both elated and terrified to think of living as a Christian in a university environment. I ask you all to pray that God will strengthen my faith and prepare me this year to face the challenges. The other problem is of course tuition. It is much more than I or my parents could afford, and we still have to hear back from the financial aid office. I know that God will provide for whatever he intends me to do, but to that end I still ask for prayer. Thanks!

Congratulations, Khiya! This is awesome news! As for tuition, have you signed up for any scholarships or grants, yet? There are enough out there that it isn't all that hard to find two or three that can cover most of your college years.
