(Fantasy)Prologue
________________________________________
I have been brain storming for a good prologue I think I finally came up with one. This prologue is the beginning of how the world that the Kalorbi live on became mostly water. And how the Supreme Being wanted them to focus and live for him.
The Supreme Being is looking over the land(fantasy world), it was dark and hopeless. He knew what he must do to correct it, but...
He looked around as he floated above the ground. The land was beautiful, but after what must be done... the land would be, deformed. It would be scarred for life as would the people. He loved the people very much, but he had to limit them, show them where he was.
He put his finger into the cloud above him and pulled out a small piece. Such a rain, it would make the whole land flood like never before and perhaps it would never heal, like the people.
The Supreme Being put his hand flat in-front of his mouth and blew; the cloud grew and grew until it spread across the land.
He watched the rain as if formed; this would be a long rain. Lightening struck suddenly sending a deafening sound through the air. He hovered back to the ground, as he landed he heard a scream and saw a house of fire.
A woman ran outside, she was a Kalorbi. She looked much like a human, but she would be changed for ever.
Suddenly a gust of wind swept across the plains and hit the house. The straw roof flew into pieces and the building started to waver.
The Supreme Being watched in horror. It was happening; this was the only way to keep them from becoming their own god.
A drop of rain fell on his shoulder, he looked up, Aw! It is time, the rain will fall and life as the Kalordi know, it will change forever.
He jumped into the air and floated towards the great mountains to the east, this is where they can find me, I will always be there, they just have to listen, and remember. He thought as he flew towards his home.
He could hear the people screaming as the rain poured down, rain was new to them, but he would do nothing about it... though it nearly killed him.
