Hi, My name is Paula Shene and while I am only a reader of the type stories posted about on this site, I do write children stories. My first is called Mandy The Alpha Dog which was released in June of 2009 and I am hoping that The Midnight Caper will do the same in 2010. I have a short story in this series, The Chronicles of The K-9 Boys and Girls on Locus Street, to be posted in the Financial Crisis contest on BookRix.com later this week, called Digging Bones. The Chronicles follows the life and times of rescue dogs, is aimed at the 7-12 year old, is humorous but covers serious topics. Our feedback has been positive and 10% of our proceeds are to go to animal rescue. We can be found on Amazon and other on line bookshops. My full profile is located at authorsden.com/paulashene which has links to Mandy's site and to the whole gang. I have been blessed to come through two bouts of breast cancer and three strokes. My husband of 44 years was recently diagnosed with Lewy's dementia a close relative of Alheizmer's, so I am usually working under sleep deprivation and appear only sporadically on different forums. This is the first to The Anomaly but I hope to be back now that I traversed the halls of sign in.
