I thought that I already introduced myself I guess not. My name is Brian and I'm writing a speculative comic book. Which I wont go into here because this is novels. Anyhoo already got some good ideas for stories I wouldn't mind turning into novels from here some really good stuff.
I grew up in the Midwest on Star Wars and Doctor Who. So I was always into Science Fiction. Moved out to Califorinia for personal reasons. One is getting out of Iowa, a second is being so near the ocean in The San Francisco bay area.

Welcome! Hope you're liking the move. My wife lived in California for over 25 years and she really likes the San Francisco area. I've done some comic books scripts. It's not as easy as one might think! Are you working with an artist yet?

So, are the comic books you're working based on the same storylines you've been fleshing out that I know about from other online haunts we both frequent? Or are you developing new characters/world?

Welcome!!! Congrats on moving to Cali! I'm in sunny SoCal, LA area. Grew up out here and LOVE it! Tried living other places but it never felt like home.

I think I'm going to do the art, so it will probably be some time before it's out. The Comic book is about a kid who lives on an Island who travels around with his aunt. His family is dead or so he thought which is pretty common on the island because most of the island are refugees from a world that has fallen.
The MC finds out his father was a superhero who was a defender of the world that fell and that the island that he is on is a hidden one.
The long and short of it is he is sent back in time to correct the damage some villains caused that reshaped the history of his world and brought about the fall of the world to a race of very powerful super villains.

The characters are created they could do for some fleshing out two minor characters are really fleshed out my protagonist not so much or his siblings.
