Lemme know what ya'll think:
Raizora is a small farming town on the outskirts of a large town (Aleyora). Each farm is settled on a hundred or so acres of land. A wide stream runs from end to end, connecting the Rivers Hin and Ren. Each farm has its own purpose...and, therefore, its own characters. The sheep farm is the one of main interest, with its rolling hills of evergreen grass and tall, sturdy yama trees (fruit like a pear, but its built like an oak). On it lives a character (Ervana) who eventually realizes she's a mage.
Raizora belongs to the relatively small country Jenkar. Jenkar is divided into Upper and Lower sections. The Upper section is one city known as Kalku. This is where the barbarians, thieves, and other malicious characters call home. The Lower section has two main cities, Aleyora and Anteyora. Aleyora is the wizarding capitol. Anteyora is the trade capitol. Two moons can be seen from Jenkar. The air in the farming area always smells of something, not necessarily a good thing (think sheep, horses, etc.). The air of the wizarding acropolis is always sweet like yama fruit. While the air of Anteyora is salty and reeks of both food and unwashed pirates.
Anteyora, as a center of trade located on the major river Ren, is full of hustle and bustle. "Unsavories" end up there all the time, trying to steal and con. The local knights, however, are always on patrol. This city is full of colorful people, animals, and houses/shops.
Aleyora's main attraction is its wizarding acropolis. This community is surrounded by a large wall with one main gate as its only entrance/exit. The buildings inside are made of different shades of marble, except for the dragon keep. This keep is situated on the biggest piece of open land and consists of two main areas: the nursery and the hold (for adult dragons to lodge). There are seven main wizarding houses for mages: (in order from least coveted to most) The House of the FoxSprite (orange-marbled), The House of the Fairy (pink), The House of the LionSprite (yellow), The House of the DogSprite (red), The House of the Elf (green), The House of the FireSprite (black), and The House of the Dragon (white). There is a different head wizard for each house. For example, Joakin is head of The House of the Dragon. Each house is named for a different friendly creature that lives in or around Aleyora. The Sprites resemble humans, but do have features like their names (i.e. a DogSprite will have ears and might have a tail).
Jenkar has two smaller countries to its left, one to its right, one above it, and three below it. The ones below it are mostly wooded with a few mountains and are home to the sprites. The two to the left are completely mountainous and home to the evil dragons and sprites. The one to its right is much like Jenkar, and elves call it home. The one above it is much like Anteyora, a trade country on the River Hin full of colorful characters. This grouping is surrounded by water and is known as the continent of Dalyor.
Too much information?
Again, lemme know what you think.
