Day two of CoSine. Been to a panel on Copyright and the how the advent of the Net has changed things. Also SF on the Internet. Next event is the large signing session in about thirty minutes. Have my books all prepped and stories marked to make it easy for the authors to sign.
Jeff did make this afternoon. I introduced him around to various con members, writers, bookstore owners, writers and folks in both the dealer's room and art show.
Later this evening the art show staff and artists are going to go out to dinner together. We did that last year as well.

Great little show. I was amazed that a show of that size (I saw no more than 75 people there) could bring in an author the caliber of L. E. Modesitt, Jr.
Nice people. Some local authors and publishers. A few costumes. Pasty white boys with outrageous beards and ponytails. The usual con scene!
Thanks for introducing me around, Dana. Hope the rest of the show goes well.

You’re welcome Jeff. Glad you could make it. I’m strongly suggesting you come up for MileHiCon in October. Dates are 22-24. Info at: www.milehicon.org/This con has about a 1000 attending and the email for the programming person is on the site. You do have to prod the person a bit, I went through this last year setting up a panel, but it’s worth it. Several of the same artists you met at CoSine will be at this one as well. In fact, Peri, who had all the pottery, will be the Artist Guest of Honor at Conquest in Kansas City over Memorial Day weekend. Fast update on Sunday since I wasn’t online at all yesterday. Only attended one panel in the late afternoon on ‘Are there really only six plots?’ It was fun and I think the final conclusion was that what is unique is the elements each author brings to the story they tell. Otherwise, I spent the day working in the art show as we closed down, sorted sold pieces, checked out the artists and hung around to talk about what we could improve next year. We also brought the art show panels back to Denver and delivered them to Bruce Miller who runs the show for MileHiCon.
