The Warrior Leadership Course: two weeks of man made hell designed to weed out those not fit tb be an NCO... or so they tell us. Really it's a two week long reminder of what basic training was like. Some, I am sure, remember very well since it wasn't very long ago. Me, not so much.
I need prayer, because not only will I be starting that on the 25th, but I also will be starting back to school this Monday. So I get to do both! Isn't that fun! No, not really. I am going to try and work ahead this weekend and the next(I should be able to start a little early), but you see the problem here. I doubt I'll be able to work ahead two weeks in two weeks, even a super soldier/student like myself.
So I need prayer that my lessons will stick in my head, and stay there. I also need prayer that I will be able to perform to standard, and above, during WLC.
Thanks guys!

Will pray for protection over you, for protection against, injury, strength, endurance, and that the Holy Spirit will heighten your senses, keep you oriented, and mentally alert.
I've been out for a loooooong time. Is this like a marathon FTX or is it an evaluation like going to NTC?

Journeyman, WLC replaced PLDC (Potential Ledership Developement Course). It has most of the same goodies, but crammed into two weeks.
Thanks Guys! I appreciate the prayers. I'll need them

I'll pray, but remember this: The Air Force wouldn't make you do this!

Thanks! I'll be needing it. This schooling, the college work, is going to make this very interesting. Torainfor, I know full well the air force wouldn't make me do this... and I'd get paid more and enjoy shorter deployments, etc. Oddly enough, much the same can be said when working for McDonald's.

Ooooh...smack! Did I just hear you compare the air force to working at McDonald's, CS? (Just kidding...I know that's not what you meant. I just had to laugh at how it sounded for a moment there.)

I HAVE RETURNED! Life renewed and time restored. Let the Earth tremble at my presence ... if it wants to. Okay, maybe a lite tremor. No? Er... how about the sun come up again tomorrow and we'll call it even.
Regardless of how anyone might celebrate it, I'm back. I gleaned all that I could from the cadre there at WLC and I am now unleashed upon the world at large... but the world seems not to have oticed, silly thing.
On the serious side, if I have one, it's so good to be home for good and to be able to spend so much time with my love. I also have a week of leave ahead of me, so expect to see me on here some as I catch up.
God bless!
