I was inspired by a serious and lively discussion on facebook that Jeff started about the current state of things for airport security. Here's what I responded:
Other, more realistic suggestions were prevalent. How does the future of air travel security look in your imagination? Five years from now? Fifty?

Why not develop a quick-gelling goo and have a tub for each passenger. Load us up, immobilize us, stack us, feed us by osmosis, entertain us through optic nerve implants. Heck you wouldn't even need flight attendants or pressurized cabins. Just a flight crew, a few technicians, and a forklift.
