Hey folks...I just wanted to let you know that after having the summer off for technical issues, Digital Dragon Magazine is back up and running. And of course, I'd be remiss not to mention I'm the featured author over there this month, since my first ebook with Diminished Media Group is set to release in a short 10 days! The story DDM is running if mine this month is a little peice of whimsy called "Wish Wary"...a story that explores how a unicorn who is obligated to grant wishes to anyone who catches him feels about the arrangement. If you do stop by, I hope you enjoy. www.digitaldragonmagazine.net

I read your story. It made me chuckle all the way through. I just love stories where the wish-giver pulls fast ones on the dumb people wishing. (It's also hilarious when the wishers out-fox the wiley wish-granted). Also I like your unicorn character. :-)
I read your interview, too. You're writing about elves with dragons! I like Elves if they're not too Tolkien-ish. (The Night Elves in Warcraft are great.)

That is good. I'll have to read the rest of the issue when I get a moment. (And like elves, Tolkien or not. I have elves in the fantasy I'm writing, but basically they're human with pointy ears. Genetically, they're not different at all, but there's a LOT of confusion about that.)

Yes, I do write about elves, though they are a lot less perfect than Tolkien's. The one I'm writing about for my upcoming release is pretty peevish and (I hope) clearly masculine. And thanks so much for dropping in on my little story. I'm glad it was a fun read--since that was the main goal. I guess I'm in a levity phase of writing right now. Anyway, I do appreciate the support.

Be sure to tell us when Divine Summons and the novel previously known as The Sword of the Patron are available.
Digital Dragon sure has a professional-looking website, now!

Bainespal, I will indeed let you know the official dates when I have them. Right now, Divine Summons will be available on Kindle, Nook, and at Smashwords on Tuesday, Oct 25th. Lord willing. And Sword of the Patron will likely be out in the first quarter of 2012. There will also be a second Windrider novella in November (the 22nd), so life is full of excitement! And j2s, thanks for the read, and I'm glad you liked the cover too. Thanks for the encouragement.
