My novella is getting some really wonderful and surprising responses, so I thought I'd add it here to the book forum. It's magical realism (YA historical).

I'd love to hear what some of you think! I got to do the cover myself and it's been a fun experiment.

I'm working on a series now, cause it's really been great to write what I love at my own pace with the goals on my own heart.

I bought this book when it first showed up on kindle. I think I gave you a review elsewhere.

For others, it's a good read. The realism is gritty and very down to earth but the story kept me turning pages from the beginning. It deals with some adult situations, but does it in a tasteful way that presents sin as ugly not something good.
