Impressive. That review demonstrates the ideal, best possible reaction of the secular world to Christian art, in my opinion. It recognizes that the themes are indeed Christian, but it doesn't make criticism of those themes the primary focus of the review, nor does it dismiss the work by branding it with the stigma attached to "Christian fiction." (Although I kind of rolled my eyes to see that the declared genre is "inspirational fantasy.") Serena Chase simply enjoyed the novel and wrote about her thoughts on it. Now, I wish the review didn't have so much summary in it (I only skimmed because I didn't want to spoil the story), and I don't feel that the reviewer is extremely familiar with the fantasy genre, but that's beside the point. Congratulations.

Thanks guys! It was a huge shock to me when I found out they would be reviewing my book. I haven't been able to market as much since I was moving across states and putting a house on the market when my book released. I'm glad that my marketing isn't solely dependent on me, and that God has a bigger plan

Congratulations again, Morgan (I know I already said it on facebook, but it bears repeating.) So I'm guessing you didn't solicit the review? That's very impressive indeed.

WOW! Morgan, it's well deserved, I am still reading your book, but I'm LOVING IT!!!!! I Love it when God shows off. He's so powerful and omnipresent, even in our marketing! Congratulations, again! In Christ, Lynn

Just read the review...
They described you as "the very creamiest cream from the speculative fiction crop." That is a fantastic compliment!
Also, I find this passage from the review interesting: "those who enjoy inspirational content will appreciate the artful way the author employs Christian themes within the story." This reminds me of another thread on here that I've read recently. Very interesting.
Congratulations on your great review and new book, Morgan!!

No, I didn't solicit it, it fell right into my lap out of nowhere lol. I almost started crying when I got the email. Everything I did solicit didn't pan out. Go figure

A classic case of God smiling and saying, "No, wait--you wait and see what I have planned. You'll like it. I promise."

Kudo's and Praise the Lord Morgan;
This is an example of how Christian Themed Sf is supposed to work. I love it when God's calling intersects with His providential activity and it all comes together.
Keep at it Sis.

What wonderful news, Morgan. It is a good review, and in the secular press, too. I agree with Dave. It's how Christian themed sf is supposed to work.
