Hey, you guys. Sorry I haven't been able to hang with you as much as I'd like. Some of you have seen that I've just launched (with two other people) an online video training site for writers, called The Bestseller Society. In addition to all the great teaching videos about fiction, non-fiction, and marketing, we have forums. Because many of your are writers who have shown you're serious about this writing thing, and because I'd love for you guys to be able to try it out for free, I've arranged a special free gift code for you. Go to www.bestsellersociety.com and press the "Join the Society" button. Your access code for a free month (30 days) is theanomaly. But you have to act fast, as that code is good only until May 31. Just to be clear: The code is good only until the 31st, but what the code gets you is 30 days free. Most of June, in other words. I'd love to see you over there! Come by and say hi, and watch all the training videos you can cram into a month. LOL. Then when the month is over, consider staying on with us. It's just $37/month for my section, FictionAcademy, and $55/month for the run of all three academies. It's $37 or $55 for excellent training, wonderful peer support, ongoing events, and access to industry experts to ask your own questions, all on your own schedule. Compare that to the cost (probably $500-1,500) of going to one writers conference that lasts only 3-4 days, gives you hit-and-miss teaching, and requires you to do it on someone else's schedule and not at home in your fuzzy slippers. Come check 'er out. Jeff

Thanks for the heads up and the promo code, Jeff! Looks like a great program. Just curious, though. If you register, it calls for CC info up front. Does that mean once the promotional period is over, you will have an automatic draft for the program begin unless you cancel?

Good question, Becky. Yes, they're trying to make it easy for people to renew.
The designers have put a big red CANCEL button on your account so you can leave at will, and they are supposed to send out a reminder e-mail a week before the card is charged.
It's still a good idea to set up a personal reminder to cancel within 30 days--or at least to decide, inside 30 days, whether or not you want to cancel.

The content is totally worth the price of admission. "Writer's conference in a box" is not an overstatement. I would love to see some more Anomaliens there.

Jeff;
I signed up last month and have a paid membership in force. I thought you guys deserved the business given all the free training I've gotten through the old WTME website.
When I get caught up on my deadlines and WIP writing I may get a chance to dig into it.

Thanks, you guys! And please make yourselves known on the forums. I've posted a topic over there (What's Your Burning Fiction Question?), and so far no one has answered. That kind of thing ought to be pounced upon. LOL.
