I haven't seen a thread on this, so I thought I'd post a quick note.
I found an Ipod/Ipad app called, of all things, "A Novel Idea". The app gives you the ability to create characters, locations, scenes, etc. You can assign your characters to specific books, if you are working on more than one. The data can be exported as a text file in itunes.

Ooo, sounds like a fun idea to capture ideas while you're standing in line at Walmart and there's only two checkers and there's about a thousand people in line. Yeah!

Yes!! I would use this! I have to look this app up. I currently use the "notes" feature for ideas all the time, and things get lost and forgotten so easily in my millions of notes...

Been there. Also, as I stated in another thread, I have problems retyping stuff I already typed. Pretty boring.
