Thanks, Becky! I'll keep everyone in the loop if it develops further. Right now, the artist is reading the book to see if it's something he's interested in. So far, so good.
On a side note, I think I just got my first "complete stranger" review on Goodreads. As in, someone not a friend, friend of a friend, etc. Felt pretty good!

Good for you..."complete stranger" reviews do carry with them a certain objectivity we all need, don't they?

Well, each one is informative in its own right. But it is definitely nice to see someone you have no particular connection with picking up your book and viewing it strictly on its own merit. Very cool.
