Don't know whether something's gone goofy with my computer (always a possibility with the techno-beast) or if the Anomaly has had a major format overhaul. Anyway, does any/all of the Anomaly look or behave differently than a few days ago?  |

Looks like it's had an overhaul-- thought it just appeared different on a Mac until your post. No, I don't like the new look. Too hard to navigate and I can't tell which boards I've already read. Yuk.

Yuk. Amen to YUK!Yep. I'm guessing Proboards did the overhaul and merged all their forums into one user log-in. Okay, so little thumbnails of our avatars are getting put into the quote boxes. Not really necessary. And people who don't want an avatar are stuck with that little bald gray guy. Not cute. Three thumbs down. That's my amateur reviewer opinion.  |

Not liking the overhaul...ugh. But I've managed to log back in and at least I can see which threads have new posts since my last visit now.
I don't like the little bald grey guy either! But I was never able to figure out how to upload an avatar before. It had to be a very specific size and I just couldn't be bothered to mess with PhotoShop and other photo editing software to shrink any of my images small enough. Maybe it'll have an easier avatar system now? I'll have to go look!

I like it, except that finding whats new is kind of a pain. I did finally figure out how to make an avatar though, so for that I'll give it a thumbs up lol.

Yes, I figured out how to do an avatar too! I don't know whether the new format made it easier or I just had better tools this time around, but now I finally have a photo up. |

Proboards is responsible for the change in appearance. There was a temporary address configuration because of a required work around with a banner issue. You should find the problem fixed now. Thanks for your patience. --Admin

Okay, after some time to adjust to Proboards' revamping, one thing I've noticed is the level of participation dropping off. I see a fairly steady number of guests visiting/browsing/lurking, but very few actually signing in.
Are folks having difficulty logging on?
Probably rhetorical -- if you have trouble signing in, you won't be able to answer, oui?
Just wondering.

I use the ProBoards iPad app, so I didn't see any difference. But it has been quiet...I guess we all just have other stuff going on. I know I have things I should be working on instead of chatting. But it had been a while since I checked in here. Oh, well, back to work...
