Lt. Averon – hard-working, upwardly-mobile officer in the Empire’s army. If only they knew he was a spy for the Alliance of Faith. After uncovering the Empire’s plans to conquer the Fantasy homeworld and environmentally and psychologically rape its inhabitants, he reluctantly continued to work for his unholy superiors while others in the AF bravely volunteered to make contact with the Fantasy homeworld. He loves soldiering, but hates his job.

T-Gunner Vasti Hesed is a thirty year vetrean of the BEAST invasion forces. Three years ago this middle aged woman came to embrace the idea that giving away your "Light" was the bravest act any BEAST could possibly do. She had seen enough blood for several lifetimes, and came to understand that the true "Black Hole" was those who tok the light. Lighters gave their light away to advance someonme elses life force (Light). Vasti cries but onlyt at night and only after the memories overcome her. Vasti laughs but only in the presence of other Lighters, when she is giving away her light (Attempting to convert others). She loves the Light she has found, and feels sharing this Light is mandated from the very throne of Heaven. She is frightened of what her comrades will do if she is discoved proseltyzing esp. the heretical Lighters theology but she fears not giving away her Light even more. Vashti is a rebel but a rebel in the shadows. She has long black as pitch hair that hangs past her elbows on each side, she eats protein and carb packets and little else. She is an olived eyed officer with her sharp shooting creditials, and is the ranking T-Gunnery Officer in the famous 34th tactical infantry division of the Polor Division (The FLAMING Division) under the command of Lt. General Paulley Howard. She has a resting heart beat of 37 and has finished in the top ten of every high gravity IronPerson competition she has ever entered. She loves several men but no one romantically. She considers herself a loyal BEAST officer, but if push came to shove the Light would come first. She is considered a first class soldier and if the General Paulley knew she was a Lighter, he would hate to give the order--but he would execute her on the spot. She was had her lifeforce re-lite and she will never turn back even on pain of death. Vasti is a proud BEAST warrior, but loyal to being a Light Giver. She has crossed her rubican and will not turn back. "May the Light Shine; may the Light be giving away that its power may return even brighter..."
