This section links to real science which might stimulate ideas for your stories. The first link concerns parallel universes. The idea had first been mooted in the 1950s. It was given some consideration and discarded, and by the time Carl Sagan made his series Cosmos the notion of parallel universes was pretty much relegated to science fiction. Now it transpires, parallel realities are not as implausible as they first seemed. I think the eternal consequences of a parallel universe are just as fascinating as the physical. Think of a futuristic Christmas Carol, where realities converge, and a hell-bent version of the main character comes across himself in another more heavenly guise....
