We are here! Broke and broken, but here!
This has been a spiritual battle of epic scope. Something or someone really didn't want us out of Flagstaff. There was so much resistance to the move, including a Murphy's Law sort of correspondence getting my wife a job, getting us a place to live, etc. Anything and everything did go wrong, and at the worst possible time. Our last night in Flagstaff--my birthday, ironically, my wife broke her foot going down the stairs to our apartment. I started getting bronchitis the moment we started to pack, and I am still coughing up stuff that makes me think of bad sci-fi movies. (She has been struggling with it for about three weeks now, and we had both been hit simultaneously with a stomach virus.) Needless to say, the 16-hour drive was no fun for either of us. Our last hours in the apartment were crazy, with some experiences that would have had the Ghost Hunters salivating. I kid you not. Something is rotten in Flagstaff, and it hates being resisted.
To list all of our misadventures would be simply too much time, and certainly more than I am willing to go into here at the moment, when I am wanting to reorient myself. Just glad to be here, glad to be back, and praying for a quick recovery and a job so that we can get this show on the road!

Welcome back! Hope Denver welcomes you with peace and health. And a distinct lack of poltergeists.

Polteregeists? Was that movie set in Denver or something?
Hey, Divides, now you need to change your location from Flagstaff! Change it in your Profile.

Should have been set in Flagstaff. Maybe it's all the old Indian burial grounds or something. All I know is that there were some dark forces at work, and we're still licking our wounds.
Fixed the location!

Please pray for us. It is going on three weeks now, and I have still not found employment. I really don't want to face eviction, and the bills are stacking up. Getting a little scared, here.

PRAISE GOD! Just got a job today. It doesn't pay much, but it's a lot better than nothing!
My wife could still really use prayer, though; her broken foot has just about done her in not only physically, but emotionally. She's finding it really hard to keep up with the kids in her room (she teaches preschool), and is almost ready to quit. I don't think it's a bad position, but she's just thoroughly wrung out.

Wonderful news about your job, Rob. I'm sorry things are hard for your wife. I'll keep her in my prayers, too.
