Howdy, I just signed up today. I am an associate pastor and writer (plus I program in Delphi to pay the bills). My wife and I live in southern Iowa, but we met in Missouri. I've looked around here and it seems like my kind of place. We are expecting a baby at the end of November, so I may not be very regular. I write for God's Word for Today (adult devotional) and Take 5 Plus (for teens). I also have a monthly column at this link My interests in fiction are picky. My favorite secular author is without question Terry Pratchett. To pick a Christian author would be very tough, but LB Graham and Karen Hanc o c k are top notch. My own fiction has just been submitted to MLP. It's a story about a group of companions (only 2 are Christian) who have to break a curse. In the story a major theme is the difference in magic and miracle. Well, must work now. Frank Luke *edit -- CS : Modified to insert/repair link*

Hello! It's great to have you here beyond the map. May your stay here be eventful...in a good way.
Coincidentally, your where I hope to be at in six years. I plan to start Seminary sometime next year, unless God wants to tweak the plan some more. In that case I'd get my associates degree and THEN go to seminary...also dependant on His will.
But! I digress. It's great to have you with us! God Bless--CS

Hello, and welcome. I can't believe I've found another Terry Pratchett fan! At last! I love his sense of humour (although his books are best read in increments, since after about ten in a row it starts to grate a little.) Felicitations on your child and your story I hope you enjoy the site!

Terry Pratchett is the Douglas Adams of fantasy. Enjoyed THE LIGHT FANTASTIC when I read it years ago.
