Just dropping a note to say hi and that I'm glad something like this exists. I'll post more, but I have to leave the jobsite to go do a little real work at home...and some editing on a piece I'm working on.
I'm KOH (one of the nicer monikers I've earned online) and I'm a helpdesk technician for a college. I write on the side and, in general, try not to break things.

But breaking is so fun. Anyway, nice to see yah. Yes, but breaking things ends up with so many complaints and unhappy people...which don't faze me until the boss gets involved. ;D

Well, I thougth I would just toss a note in here since I noticed it said I can put updates. The last two years have been interesting in that I've gotten to learn a lot about the medical profession as a victim of their ministrations.
Two months and a few days ago (Dec 16, 08 to be specific) I was given a new lease on life, no exaggeration, by my wife in that she gave me a kidney. We're both doing great and I've been able to go back to a somewhat normal life. Still doing some recovery in that there are times I just don't have a lot of energy, but nothing compared to the way things were. I just want to let y'all know and list that as a praise.

That is quite an amazing story! Isn't it neat how God works miracles in ways we may not think of? We'll be praising and praying with you.

The part that amazes me is what I remember of my wedding vows (no flames, I rewrote them on the fly because I'd written nineteen or twenty variations of them and decided at the altar I hated what I'd settled on)... I said that she completed me, in ways no one would ever really understand. That was the truth of the matter, it seems.
