I'm excited about becoming a member of this forum.
A little about myself:
The basics:
I'm 40 years old
Married for 17 years
2 sons (6 and 12)
Native Californian living in North Carolina (Yep, I'm a foreigner here!)
Homeschool Mom
Background:
Was a SGT in the US Army
BA in Art from San Jose State University
Former Boystown Family Teacher
Former Cottage Parent at a Children's Home
Currently:
Director of FIRST: Fiction in Rather Short Takes, a blog alliance.
Assistant Director of the CFBA: Christian Fiction Blog Alliance
Writing and illustrating a Christian YA adult fantasy series about fairies
Prayer Request:
My first book has gone through two new product meetings at AMG Publishing, but they are still debating. I'm hoping they take it --obviously!
-- but I am praying that God's will be done with it.
Hope this isn't too long! Can't wait to get into some fun discussions with everyone. ;D
