Tomorrow is "Fight Procrastination Day," and in honor of such I really should stop putting off introducing myself....
Good morning, one and all. I'm an aspiring but unpublished author by day and an employment recruiter on my lunch hour. Or something like. I go to a lot of trouble to lead a small, uncomplicated life, but I have a complicated family, so most of my efforts are in vain and leave me with slim pickings in the extracurricular department. I can add that I'm the acting secretary in my local ACFW chapter, but that and $4.71 will get you a cup of coffee.
Hmm... what else? I joined many, many moons ago, and only recently had a schedule change that let me come back. I write a weird mix of historical, sci fi, fantasy, and humor, but usually not all at once. This summer I've had the opportunity to start speaking on writing, which wasn't as awful as I'd feared. Oh, and I'm in the middle of a rewrite requested/commanded by an acquisitions editor, which further sucks my extracurricular time dry.
