Hi all. I've enjoyed reading the posts today!
I'm Dawn, wife to Chris for 16 years and a mom to 7 children ages 13 and under. Yes, I'm quite busy! LOL
I'm getting back to writing. I always thought I'd just go on to writing non-fiction when I had time (I was homeschooling everyone until this year and my life was homeschool and sleep, with delivering newspapers in there somewhere).
But the NaNoWriMo notice came out and I had this story floating around in my head...so I'm going to go for it. My head is still spinning with all the things I've read.
You know it's crazy to read too many worldbuilding articles one after another. One will say to just make the world like Earth and don't have much of a back story, and the other will say the opposite. It cracks me up! (And messes with my head). So many times the advice contradicts!
Thanks for starting Marcher Lord Press, Jeff! It gives me hope we can have SFF that doesn't make you feel like you need a bath after reading it. Instead it can be a genre that can bring glory to our Lord.
Dawn

Dawn-- That's a big chip on my own shoulder--how sci-fi and fantasy are the perfect genres with which to show our worldviews, yet it doesn't get published. I'm so glad it's fighting it's way through the free-market thanks to the Web!

Greetings and well met, Dawn! Congratulations on taking the big step off the map. I sincerely hope you never want to go back... because you can't. I hope your stay here is as wonderful as all of ours has been.
God bless -- CS
