My dad is in the final hours after a long battle with cancer and heart disease. Although my family is saved, my mom and sisters are not handling dad's imminent passing very well; and I haven't been able to travel to be with them yet. I ask for prayers of peace and solace for my family at this time.

Metalikan, I am so sad to read about your father. I lost my father to cancer several years ago, and I can remember what it was like toward the end. I will certainly remember you and your family in my prayers.

My grandfather passed of cancer just this year. I will be praying for peace, as you ask, as well as hope for the reunion to come.

Dad passed away Dec 1 at home, where he wanted to be. He's with Jesus and has been reunited with his parents and youngest daughter. I spent all of last week with mom and my remaining sisters. They need continued prayer support -- mom's health is quite poor; and my sisters are under multiple stresses aside from caring for mom and dealing with dad's death.

Afterthought: At one (long) point, my family had over 30 moves in a 15 year period. This was dad's first move without a massive you-load-it trailer. Thank You, Lord!
And thank you, Anomoly folks, for your prayers!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Earlier this week a friend I recently reconnected with lost his mom and last year had lost his dad. With both of my parents still being alive I can't imagine what any of you are going through. I pray that God's peace would be in you and radiate from you to those around you.
Be encouraged,
David
