Knowing that most of us get our inspirations from movies, I'd like to ask you to remember my sister when you watch one. She works in a company that produces most of the posters for movies (the popular ones (many of them in threes, and in every genre you can name it). She's not happy with most of them - being Christian and with two kids, she's virtually alone in an company full of workaholic singles. She was recently promoted to a director position where she tackles daily with movie studio executives who make such high demands. She managed to get Christmas off but is back on the grind with two movies up for Oscar consideration. I hope you understand that I don't make public her company's name . I don't think she has much to do with the actual design of images on posters (I think only those movies which are more wholesome), but she does make decisions that affect the packaging of a lot of movies. I tell her the Lord has put her in a place to be a good witness, a light in an industry where its denizens toil in spiritual blindness. We know that prayer goes beyond all boundaries so thanks ahead.

What a hard place for her to be in. But I can't help agreeing with you. What a coup that God has one of His "spies" so prominently placed in what some might consider an enemy organization.
I've been reminded lately that God loves all of us, even when (or especially when) we haven't yet come to love Him yet. He looks beyond our deformities to see the worth that lies beneath. I've prayed that He will help your sister see this in her coworkers even more than I'm sure she already does.

Remind your sister that there are other Christians in the industry too. Just look at how Ralph Winters has broken out and he's been a producer for over two decades now. Let her know that God has placed her there and that her task is to do the best job she can to His glory even if the posters are for blasphemous films. The quality of her work, even for those films, will be a big part of her non-verbal testimony to the world around her of who she really serves. She'll be in my prayers when I think of her.

She's in my prayers, too. May God use her light as a beacon to draw others to Him.

Thanks to you all who responded. I'm sure my sister knows of other Christians in the industry. It's only been recently that she's opened up on this matter.
I will be offline till the 6th. A best New Year to you all.
