Well... I found the main site and decided to come join. My name is Jason Hein, but everyone on the internet knows me as Jax Nova so that's what I always sign up on forums with. I am an aspiring author. I have had a poetry book published but it was a self publish deal that I did mainly for the experience so I don't really count that as "getting a book published" in the actual sense of the act. Currently I have finished a 2 year college level writing course with a group called Long Ridge Writers Group and am going to be starting another one in March with hem. (again 2 years) My hope is (that after I finish this next writing course about writing Novels) that I will apply my learned skills to a fantasy Novel I am writing and get it published. I figured this would be a good place to pick up other good tips during my educational process. (If that's even a word) *shrugs* Well... that's about all about me as a (amateur) writer. Other than that I live on a farm and have cows and goats. lol Oh yeah, and my spelling is bad... ha ha wonderful problem for a writer to have, I know! Well, I look forward to getting to know people here and hope I can pull myself away from my busy schedule to come look around consistently in the future. *waves* P.S I LOVE the spell-check option on this forum!!! *laughs* PPS.... I even miss-spelled Spell-check. (who knew it was two words )

Oo oo! Two newbies in one month! *Does happy dance* And neither of you are bots!
Greetings and well met fellow traveler(s). Just a warning, the local saying is "Once off the map, always off the map" I'll let you decide if that's a good thing or not.
So again, greetings from the beach life -- CS aka Glyn

*waves* Hey all. Thanks for the warm welcome (still) Life is slowing down and I am trying to get a schedule worked out and I am adding checking this forum to that schedule so hopefully you will see me around a bit more. Still looking forward to getting o know everyone here and hope to get into some good literary discussions. *waves* and thanks for the tips link Jeff, those are always nice! lol And yes, Teskas, I love Science Fiction! Mostly starwars and Stargate SG1 At first I only wanted to write sci fi but I found myself captivated by fantasy as well. i still hope to write a few sci fi books, though, that I have swirling around in my head.
