Hey guys and gals, I have a monthly column with the Assemblies of God Men's Ministries online zine. The direct links don't work, but if you go to men.ag.org/life and click the title "Books to Grow With," you can read a Pulitzer worthy article on the best classic and contemporary Christian fiction. Enjoy! Frank

That is a good article, Fluke.
A lot of folks aren't even aware there is Christian fiction, let alone spec fiction, apart from the historical romances they see in Barnes & Noble or Christian-affiliate bookstores.

Thanks, Fluke! Tracking down good fiction is a tricky proposition anyway on a limited budget. And Christian speculative fiction is even harder to find. Thanks for the heads up on a couple of series I didn't know about.

Nice little article. Great to see speculative fiction highlighted like that. Though just to be contrary I'd argue with the point "the main purpose of reading Christian fiction is to learn the lesson". Rather, I'd say the main purpose of reading Christian fiction is to explore the depths of our faith and seek out answers in real life to any questions raised in the fiction. Especially in speculative fiction.
