Last Starfighter rocked! I loved that movie. Bad movies: Space Camp Enough plot holes for three shuttles to escort the Enterprise-E through. Animatrix I know it's like 9 episodes, but I found them all various levels of bad. Matrix 2 and 3 1 was cool, but it was better to leave it alone. Star Trek: Nemesis. I can't believe that they broke the streak of even movies being good! I used to be a rabid ST fan, but I couldn't stand 10. The villain wasn't up to snuff (a common failing of the ST:NG films). So what did you think about the recent one that hit theaters this year with the new cast for the Original crew?

Well, we've been to see it twice. On it's own, it was a great film, lots of action, the characterization was down pat in lots of places and the humor was right up there with Trouble with Tribbles and Piece of the Action from the original series.
My only complaint was personal...that the story line seems to have wiped out the original universe. However.....if I tweak things just a bit, the original universe didn't get wiped out, but Spock got lost in another dimension.
The human mind is an amazing universe filled with devious twists and turns. It's the only way I can accept both universes and still enjoy them.
Have to admit, it's the reason I stopped reading the Star Wars universe after the first NJO book came out. Didn't like what was happening, so if I stopped reading it, everything stayed the same.
Actually though that's not exactly true. Having read the first book that got rid of Chewbacca, I simply HAD to write a time travel story that undid the new timeline.
(grins) I love playing with time.

Thr3e I like the book, hate the movie. Wicker Man Need I say more? Ghost Rider Why Nicholas Cage? Why? Agrees. I wish I never saw Wicker Man. I wish the Thr3e movie was better. Ghost Rider was cool except for Nicholas Cage.
