A lot of you know that I'm a theatre person, so I have a flare for the dramatic. I was waiting until today to make this announcement... First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all the awesome mamas out there! All right... *drum roll* My little Hopie is going to be an older sister! Honestly, I thought about putting this in the prayer requests category, as this will make 3 little ones under the age of 4 and will limit my writing time even more, but it's going to be great and I'm excited. The baby will be due either toward the end of the year or the beginning of the next. ;D

Ditto on the congrats.
I have 3 boys 5 and under, so I'm there with you. I write while my family sleeps--thus my user name.
God will work out the details and priorities of all that He calls you to.
Have a very happy Mother's Day.

Oh, yay! And you're going to bring the squirtling to writers' group, yeah? And then do your darndest to retrieve aforementioned child from Michelle!

Of course! I have two others that she can borrow from time to time, too.

Congrats! I have 4 kids spread between 3 1/2 years (and yeah, if you're doing the math, I have a set of twins ;P). It makes for a very busy couple of years but once they start to get older, its great having them all close together since they are all still interested in the same things (games, movies, etc...). I ended up taking a year off from my writing when I had the twins, but as a mommy, you do what you need to do. The writing will always be there, but the kids won't. And even when you're not sure you're going to make it... you do (the slight twitch to your left eye may never go away, but you do live!).

Congratulations, and don't you know, you'll have another reviewer (not to mention fan) when you're published.

This is terrific news, Duchess! Congratulations!
And since you're in the Springs we'll definitely have to arrange a baby visitation.
