Hello Thank you for inviting me to Anomaly. I've said this in the other writer groups that I've joined, but I'll say it again because it's so true. I find it so comforting and exciting to find so many people who enjoy speculative fiction like I do. Ever since I was little, I've always gobbled up stories. In particular, I've always loved speculative fiction, particularly in the fantasy genre. In my town, I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who loves to read and write speculative fiction. Really glad that this isn't the case. So, to the best friends I've never met, thank you for allowing me to take part of such a special group. Esther Yi SquarePegs member

Your very welcome, Esther Yi! Now, hand over your map so that I can shred it, and never mind the fellow sneaking up behind you with the vat of glue...

Esther, welcome! And I do know the feeling. Rural American isn't always a welcoming place for those who enjoy a good fantasy or sci fi. People always looked at me like I had two heads ...well, actually I do, so I guess they had a good reason to look at me funny. Anyway, welcome home.

Greetings fellow writers of [weird] Christian speculative fiction! Imagine my excitement when I tripped into this corner of the web-globe and, lo and behold, found others like me!
My parents raised me in a home filled to the brim with books of every genre; romance, western, sci-fi, fantasy, suspense... I read them all with a voracious appetite.
Eleven years ago I began writing fantasy, outside of my normal dramatic romance genre, and ten years ago I was introduced to the world of fan-fiction. What an opportunity to explore strange new worlds and meet intriguing characters! For five years I delved into the realm of sci-fi/fantasy and loved every word. Now I can't get enough of the speculative fiction genre. There are so many facets to the characters in these unique worlds that one can't help but be inspired.
So much so the better when you have an obsession with words.

Welcome home, writersprite! If your introduction is anything to go by, you'll fit in very well, here. I hope you enjoy your stay and that you never try to leave... because you can't. There aren't any maps.

Welcome, Squarepegs! This part of the universe has a tidy corner for such as you. However, beware. It is an expanding universe with temporal anomalies galore. You may not stay precisely square for long.

Greetings writersprite. Sounds like you'll fit in....maybe. Our space tends to warp us from time to time. But that's the fun of this place!

Welcome SquarePeggers. This is a great place to hang out and we don't have any trouble (well..not much)slipping from one dimension to the other. Caff's in the wreck room and leave your cred chip on the droid. Who wrecked the rec room? Get the tar and feathers! The maintenance droid got a little carried away and wrecked the rec room.

I searched yahoo groups for SquarePegs and couldn't find it. Can you post the link, Jeff?
