Not sure if I should post this here or in the prayer forum, but I guess this works.
As some of you may know, I have more than one kind of arthritis; and up until March 2006, I needed a cane to walk and struggled with numerous associated health issues. God changed my circumstances so the arthritis could settle down. The occasional flare-ups I have now are neither as severe nor debilitating as they used to be. I thank and praise Him for that every day. And because I don't want to waste this particular freedom, this wonderful blessing, I work-out daily.
Recently, the emphasis on my work-outs changed. You see, I'm writing the sequel to a novel and one of the characters uses gymnastic moves. I wanted to be sure they were possible, so I started working on strength, balance, and flexibility exercises.
Thursday, July 23rd, I completed my first somersault in 30 years. Friday, July 24th, I did a somersault, a backward roll, and another somersault. (Saturday was a work day at the clinic so I only did an abbreviated work-out.)
I don't know that I'll be able to actually do what I show my character doing, but I will know how possible it is. Next goals: cartwheel, splits, backbend, and forward and backward walkovers.
Research is fun! ;D Thank You, Lord!

cool side effects and praise God for your mobility and strength! I can only imagine these action scenes you're planning.
