Hello,
Brand new poster here - sent by Jeff Gerke. He suggested I come to this forum and ask "Christian Soldier" the following question:
I have written a 7,500 word Christian fantasy that I hope to have published as a short story. The story involves a redneck adulterer/sex addict who, during a midnight frog-gigging expedition, finds himself mysteriously transported to Hell. While there, he experiences a "Dante's Inferno-esque" journey, affording him a first-hand opportunity to learn about sin, punishment and the nature and extent of God's mercy. I am having a difficult time finding any journal that I think would welcome this submission. The fact that it is Christian fantasy along with the length of the piece has left me grasping for possible homes for it. Most Sci-Fi/Fantasy journals don't want Christian stuff, and if they do, 7,000 words is too long for most. So far, I've not submitted it anywhere. If you know of any journals that may like to take a look at something like this, I'd appreciate your input.

Sorry everybody, but I just found a pub - Orion's Child - and they have accepted the story for publication online. It's entitled "The Culvert" and it should actually be online later today.
Any info you would have regarding pubs for future short story submissions would still be appreciated.
