I've had a persistent cough for about two weeks. I've drank all of the cough medicine from the doctor I saw three weeks ago and have an over-the-counter bottle I can use. This cough is so annoying. When I cough it's forceful.
Also, I have sleeping problems. I failed to go to sleep last night and was up until around 5 or 6 this morning when I feel asleep. I don't want to go back to coffee or large amounts of caffeinated soft drinks because they will keep me awake at night preventing me from sleeping while keeping me awake during the day when I need to them to. I need a stasis pod or something else to force me to sleep.
Thanks, Wolfie

Praying. I can sympathize about the sleep. I had insomnia during 3 pregnancies and one 9 month manuscript

Wolfie, I sympathize a little bit too well with your situation right now. I'm wide awake and acting hyped up on caffeine. I last had coffee almost six hours ago. The good news is that I'm working through a whole slew of projects that I wasn't sure how I was going to get done on time...
So yeah, brothers in wakefulness. I'm praying for you again, since I'm awake and all, and hopefully you'll get some sleep. Me... I'll be here.

Prayers away for you, wolfie.
Is this cough from allergies, an infection following a cold, bronchitis, or ??
Praying also for a good night's sleep — quality rest is important for recovering.

Wolfie, If I could cautiously recommend some raw garlic, it's horrible stuff, but I've twice had tonsil infections that refused to respond to antibiotics. Pain and desperation led me to try it, and it did work after a week or so.
I just go insomniac due to husband's shift work. Don't sleep well when he's on nights. So, yep, know the feeling. I'll share in the prayers tonight, and if you're awake and on, I'll likely look for ya.

URI — ouch! You can make the raw garlic more palatable if you toss it diced in a serving of beef ramen noodles just before eating it (don't cook it). A pinch of powdered cayenne boosts the performance of the garlic, if you don't mind hot pepper.
Still praying for restoration of your health.
