LOL Aaron - I typically switch POV while one character is travelling so I don't get bored

Me too, but in this case they're both traveling. I'm making it work, and interesting, but it's just not coming easily...

Do you give yourself a bribe or reward in order to keep motivated? Mine is a Snapple Iced Tea - I only allow myself to drink one while I write

Kessie, for being a mother of four little'ins, you are clipping along nicely! I commend you!!! Been there done that, wouldn't have been able to write like you do! WHO HOO, Girlfriend!

Lynn: I only have 3 little ones, unless you know something I don't know, hee hee. But yes, that's why I only have two hours at night to write. It's that slice of time between their bedtime and my crash time.

I picked up this ebook when it was free a couple days ago, and I think it's completely revolutionized the way I write. Rivet Your Readers With A Deep Point Of View. It's how to do that snappy narration from the character's perspective, which gets rid of "he saw, he heard, he felt, he thought". I've always enjoyed books that used it, but I didn't know what it was or how to duplicate it. I read the book, did the exercises, and just wrote 509 words in Deep POV. It's so much BETTER. I'm so excited! I feel like I've uncovered one of the mysteries of the universe.

No, No, I don't know any thing, Kessie! I had four kids, and probably just assumed you did too! TeeHee! I download the book too, but haven't have a chance to read it yet. I agreed to help Janalyn Voigt and read her book and write a review for Amazon... So I'm reading and writing these days! HA! Multi-tasking at it's finest! Thank Goodness my four are grown and only one is still at home!

As we're nearing the finish line - who thinks they'll make it to the 50? Less? More? Even if it's less are you glad you're trying??

I think I'll make 50K. It's been fun and yet it's pressure I'm not used to...haha. I'm not sure I like the free fall writing. I think I prefer taking my time and thinking stuff through...still it's been an excellent experience, and I bet I do it again!!! HAHA!!

I too probably won't make it. Too much on my plate right now with tight deadlines for TTC and when the publisher wants to release the antho.
