I have been sick with a chest cold for over a week now, but that's not a big problem. The wierd thing is that my shoulder started really hurting when the cold started. It has been hurting so bad that I am having problems sleeping and even concentraiting at all. My doctor said it probably had something to do with swolen lymph nodes under the shoulder blade (which is a new one on me.)
I am starting to get over the cold, but the pain in my arm has yet to start getting better. Please pray that this pain is taken away from me.
Scincerely,

That IS odd, but it makes a sad kind of sense. Every time I get sick, everything hurts, but that's from the chemicals my body uses to fight the cold/flu. Prayers and get well soon -- CS!

Thank you every one.
I gotten over my cold and the problem with the lymph nodes has finally subsided. My shoulder still hurts but it is at normal pain levels that I can deal with.

UPDATE:
Somehow while trying to find a position that didn't irritate the swollen lymph glands under my shoulder blade, I managed to somehow dislocate my shoulder.
I doesn't hurt as much as my previous condition, but now I can't sleep, and trying to type is agonizing. ( which is frustrating as I'm comming up with some good ideas for my story.) Fun times.

No wonder you were in pain! Can they fix your shoulder? I have a good chiropractor, and he should be able to put it back in. It was by the time I realized what it was and tried everything I could think of to try to put it back in myself, it was too late to see him on Friday. Hopefully, he waill be able to put it back on Monday, and I will be able to get back to writing. I have been able to keep in good humor throught this, and I thank everyone for their words of encouragement and prayers. Scincerely, Scintor@aol.com AKA Mark McDonald

UPDATE:
Late last night, my 19 year old daughter got me in an armlock and pulled until it felt like my arm was comming off. When she was finished, my shoulder was back where it was supposed to be. . .now it's just sprained.
I do feel better, and I thanl you all for all your paryers and encouragement. I should be back to what passes for normal in a few days.
Scincerely,

I'm glad you're feeling better. My husband came home early today. He broke a rib playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Glad to hear you're on the mend, Mark.
And Torainfor, I can almost sympathize with your husband. I separated a rib at work back in May, which apparently feels nearly the same. I say nearly because it just lacks the jagged edges that can potentially cut. It seems to have mostly healed, but cold days like to day, I still feel the spot.

Scintor, remind me never to tell your daughter if I have a sore shoulder...
Glad you're better, though!
And broken and separated ribs? That sounds awful. It must hurt with every breath you take and every shift you make in your chair or walking or lying down... Ow!

And every vow you break, every smile you fake, every claim you stake...
No jagged edges, no major swelling, but he's on 800 mg Motrin and percocet and he still hurts.
