At some point several of you expressed an interest in contributing to Vol 2 of Different Dragons. This email is your official invite to submit a story. I have a list, so don't sent a story because I will be checking it very carefully.
Here's what I need:
Science Fiction, Horror, Steampunk, Science Fantasy,(think Andre Norton, ex. Catseye, Lord of Thunder, Star Rangers) Paranormal, Supernatural, Mystery, Romance, Action/Adventure, Young Adult or any other genre.
I have plenty of Fantasy - High, Traditional and Urban - so don't send me any more.
Deadline is Oct. 31st, 2013. I'm going to have you send your submissions to: submissions@wolfsingerpubs.com
In the Subject line please put :
Different Dragons V2. The name of your story, your last name.
I would like a one to two line synopsis in your cover email, including your work count. IF you are going to go over 6000 words, please query me first. Thank you.
Several of you have already pitched your ideas and I gave you permission to run with it.
Volume 1 is slated for release around the end of April. The cover are is wonderful and it's generating a great deal of interest on Facebook.

Hi Dragonlots
Just to clarify, encouraged by a reader from the sand box, I have a sequel in mind to my story in Different Dragons1. BUT I am probably not on your list. Is there any point in developing it further? Or all the slots taken. I could send you the plot out line, but I'll do it privately as it will have spoilers for those that have yet to read the 1st story.

Hi Chris,
Since there's talk of a DD Vol 3, I'd say go ahead and develop the idea. I'll being seeing my publisher this weekend so I'll know for sure one way or the other.

Vol 2 had not been selected yet. There were 12 invites that went out, plus I'll be going back through the remaining stories submitted the first time.
Vol 3 is not confirmed but is it is still a possibility.

The story I'm final editing for Volume 2 is not the one I originally thought to send in. That still leaves the final chapter in my Odyssey trilogy, the follow on story to "Rendezvous Point Alpha". That is looking like a short Novella length story @12-13k. If you decide to go with D.D. III and can use something that length it should be available by then. Okay, focusing on Vol II. submission, now  ... SGD dave |

Just sent out a reminder to all the invite authors for Vol 2.
Also sent an email out to the authors whose stories I'm still considering to make sure they're still interested.
I also had to recreate my spreadsheet since my thumb drive died and I lost all my updates. Grrrr.

Hi Dana, I sent a mail via the Sandbox about promoting DD v1 Also, I am shaping up both the Colorado story and my sequel to my story in DD. Both still to go through the Sandbox, but close to final draft my end. Would you like to see my sequel during your reading for DD 2, I could certainly get it to you by the deadline, or should I just hold back at the moment? I am officially working on Different Dragons 2. There will NOT be a volume three. However, I am working on guidelines for a new anthology and it will be an open call. Keep watch!

Acceptances and rejections now sent out for DD2. Story order done as well. Whew! Next step, get the edits done and to the authors.
